From 25 to 28 May 2010, Enhesa exhibited in one of the biggest environmental exhibitions in Japan, 2010 New-Env Expo, which attracted more than 170,000 visitors.
On the second day of the expo, Enhesa’s country manager for Japan, Yuko Dvorak-Miyata gave a seminar on the global trend of environmental regulations and their business impacts. The seminar focused on regulatory developments in chemical management and product stewardship in different regions around the world. The seminar included an overview of fast-paced regulatory developments requiring massive chemical testing, implementation of Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS), and chemical restrictions in products. The seminar attracted a larger audience than could be accommodated in the conference room, demonstrated the interest of Japanese companies in EHS regulatory developments overseas.
During the exhibition, Enhesa’s Chinese lead consultant, Ellen Zhang, provided a number of seminars for smaller groups on regulatory developments in mainland China and Taiwan at the Enhesa booth. Enhesa received positive feedback by visitors who appreciated the opportunity to pose questions and receive consultations on regulatory dynamics around the world.
