Overview of the Seminar
The concept of sustainability, whether in terms of economic or environmental sustainability, is impacted by an organization’s productive activities. Every organization’s activities result in the generation of production wastes or unwanted/spent materials. Environmental sustainability must include the responsible disposition of these materials beyond the generation organization’s fence line. Sustainability efforts need to incorporate the management of the entire supply chain to encompass recycling and treatment/disposal service providers. Stewardship of this “environmental footprint” is a critical part of the sustainability and organization – it affects the bottom line. This seminar will look at polluter pays legislation and explore the potential impacts on business. Read More!
